I had a beautiful dream, this dream was me and you…
Roxanne left Montserrat carrying with it 8 litres of red wine. This probably wasn’t ideal considering google maps had decided to add a new dimension to our challenge in the form of dirt tracks. The descent to Barcelona was a bit gnarly as Roxanne tried her hand at mountain biking.
Along with tortilla sandwiches, another thing Spain does well is bloody big boxes.
Our poor host Xabier endured the same pain we subjected Jeffy to as we proceeded to dismantle Roxanne in his lobby and pack her up for the journey home.
Meeting our friend Lydia was actually much more of a high point than we had expected. She had a day tour planned out for us including a stop in a tandem cafe and a visit to a disreputable museum.
Alex loved it. Solid 6/10 kinda day.
Fortunately for the people of Barcelona, the festival of San Juan fell at the same time as our arrival. So they were able combine the two celebrations with one big party! We sat for a bit on the beach and tried not to get struck by fireworks.
So despite all odds, we actually made it to Barcelona. You could say it was quite a roller-coast-to-coaster!
What happened the eight litres of red wine?

Can’t believe you had the audacity to rate me a pathetic six after we saw all of the amazing sights that Barcelona has to offer (particularly the inside of them!!!)
